AWSA-PAC

Legislation enacted at the state level impacts our students and our profession (funding, testing, student conduct, salary caps, etc.). AWSA advocates for students with a powerful voice in Madison through the lobbying efforts of the executive director and associate executive director, who are both registered lobbyists. AWSA is a key member of the Wisconsin School Administrators Alliance (WSAA), a proactive, effective and highly regarded organization that lobbies for the interests of children and the school leaders who serve them.

AWSA, with the School Administrators Alliance, has made great strides toward the goal of giving school administrators the most effective and respected grassroots lobbying organization in the state. However, our grassroots advocacy efforts must include a strong AWSA-PAC to ensure that our voices are heard in Madison.

AWSA is prohibited by law from using any portion of its budget to make contributions to anyone running for or holding elective office. Therefore, it is important for members to make an extra effort to support PAC.

If you have any questions regarding the AWSA-PAC, please contact Jim Lynch at 608/241-0300 or email jimlynch@awsa.org.
